You come with a question — or without one. Both are welcome.

Before the stones speak, Rúnar asks a few things: your name, the area of life you are moving through, and what you are seeking. Not to judge. To listen more precisely.

Then you draw. One rune from twenty-five — the Blank among them, the rune of the unknown. What follows is one reading, in a single flow: what the rune carries for you today, told through one image.

The runes do not decide your path. They help you remember it.

Besides a single rune, Rúnar lays out spreads: several runes at once, each in its own place, read together as one story. You choose the spread before you draw.

Every spread is open to everyone who walks with Rúnar, at any time of the year. The free reading you get when you join is for a single rune; a spread costs more {casts}, as listed below.

After a reading you can ask Rúnar about it — for example, what a rune means in this reading, or where the image points. He answers from that reading, and the question and his answer are kept with it in your journal.

Questions come with a subscription:

He reads every one of your readings aloud. Afterwards his voice is kept with the reading in your journal, and you can listen again whenever you like. Without a subscription, he reads your free reading and the readings you pay for with a Rune Reading Card.

Every reading you take for yourself is remembered. As a {seeker}, your last {seeker_journal} readings wait in the journal — the rune drawn, the date, the area, the words spoken.

When you move to {standard}, the journal becomes a full chronicle. Every reading, going back to the beginning. Filterable by rune, area, and language.

Rúnar speaks two languages — English and Icelandic. These are not translations of each other. Each carries its own imagery, its own rhythm. Icelandic is older here.

You can switch languages at any time from the menu. Your preference is remembered.

Sign in with a code sent to your email, or with Google — no password needed. Your readings are saved to your account.

Your data is stored in Europe (Ireland). Only our encrypted backups may be kept elsewhere. Iceland is a member of the European Economic Area. GDPR applies.

To delete your account and all your data, open the menu and choose Delete Account. Everything is erased at once, though our encrypted backups keep the data for a while longer. Read our full Privacy Policy.
